Maybank International was incorporated in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia on 5 December 1990 under the Malaysian Offshore Companies Act 1990. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maybank, the largest financial services group in Malaysia, liabilities and obligations of Maybank International are fully guaranteed by the parent company.
